8am Sunday Service

Here at LPAC, our 8am Service is a warm and welcoming way to begin your Sunday. 

8am at LANGWARRIN - 185 North Road, Langwarrin VIC 3910

It runs for just over an hour and offers a relaxed, friendly space shaped by a thoughtful “form and flow” style of worship.

You’ll notice we draw from the Anglican Prayer Book, especially the Communion services, which helps give the service a steady rhythm and a comforting sense of connection to the Protestant biblical heritage of the Anglican Church.

A real highlight every Sunday is the public reading of Scripture from Old and New Testaments. We take our time with it.

We give space to preach and reflect the text, to listen, and to let the Sunday passage settle in our weekly small groups.

Our 8am prayers mostly come from the Prayer Book—confession, thanksgiving, blessing, and intercession—which are thoroughly inspired by Scripture too, and many people find the well-crafted language both engaging and deeply enriching. Musically, we enjoy a mix: 2 songs each week, always at least one traditional hymn, sometimes two, but often complemented by a contemporary song rich in gospel content.

Worship here is centred on the ministry of the word, and it's our response carries a gentle sense of formality in reverence and tradition. Families are of course very welcome. Kids activity packs are available in the service, so little ones can follow along in their own way.

There’s no fixed demographic for 8am—it’s truly for anyone who prefers an earlier gathering or simply loves a reflective, Scripture-anchored service with Holy Communion every week.
