10am Sunday Service

Here at LPAC, our 10am Service is a warm and welcoming way to begin your Sunday.

If you’re a young family, a teen, new to church, or just looking for a lively, thoughtful, slightly informal service where you can settle in and belong… the 10am might be your spot. Come and make yourself at home with us!

Our 10am service runs for about an hour and fifteen minutes, and it has a relaxed, contemporary feel that really suits young families and anyone who enjoys a bit more participation and response in church.

More about the Service

Most weeks we have around 70–75 people with us, including about 15–20 kids under 16, so it’s a wonderfully mixed bunch—genuinely all ages, all stages, and all welcome. We kick things off with 2–4 songs and a short call to worship. 

It might be a thanksgiving, a confession, a creed, or even a simple exercise to help us settle in and remember why we’re here—to magnify the Lord Jesus. We share Communion every second Sunday. 

There’s always a Kids Spot or family segment early in the service, which we love because it models our priority for discipling the next generation and our hope shape everyday Christian life as a household of faith. After that, kids head out to Kids Church for their own teaching and activities. Parents sign them in, and subsequently out at the end of the service. 

Our highlight is opening the Bible together. We read from both the Old and New Testaments and during term time follow an expository style of preaching—simply walking through the passage in front of us, listening carefully, and thinking about how it speaks into real life. 

Every Sunday finishes with morning tea, and on the third Sunday of each month we extend things with a themed lunch—a great chance to slow down, chat, and actually get to know and spur one another.
