This is a more contemplative traditional Anglican service. The minister wears robes, we use the Anglican prayer book, and always celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
You will need a green prayer book and a brown hymn book which are on a shelf on the back of the seat in front of you. The minister will direct you to which pages to start with so you can follow the service. The congregation together pray the prayers in bold type. There will be times when the congregation stands and sits without being prompted — just follow along as you like.
On the second Sunday of the month, we share morning tea after the service in the church hall.
Our family 9.30 A.M. service is a contemporary, relaxed, straightforward ‘all-age’ gathering. The minister does not wear robes. You can follow the service on the projection screen. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.
There is always a talk specifically for the children. During term time there is a children’s program for preschoolers and primary school aged children. In the holidays we provide children’s packs.
If you like the noise of children, then this is the service for you.
